ACMET is the students body of Kerala’s upcoming business institute, M.S.N.Institute of Management & Technology.

ACMET is designed to go beyond the scope of academics and aims at total evolution, which brings revolutionary changes. ACMET tries to combine the important aspects of Business administration, Professionalism and Excellence.

ACMET has organized industrial seminar and national talent hunt named ‘DREAMZ 03' and ‘DREAMZ 04'. National competition “DREAMZ” is an exclusive event for potential assessors. DREAMZ combines Creativity, Intelligence, Innovation and Entertainment

DREAMZ 03

The following programmes were organized as a part of the south Indian competition held from 29th to 31st October 2003.

On October 29 th, an industrial seminar on ‘ the market potential of placer sand was organized at the M.S.N. auditorium. Shri.P.Rajendran, Hon Member Of Parliament, Kollam inaugurated the seminar. The function was presided over by Mr.Shibu Baby John M.L.A. Shri.M.G Radhakrishnan, (Senior correspondent, India Today) and Shri G;Shashi, General Manager, K.M.M.L presented papers on the topic.

Hon.Minister Shri.Kadavoor Sivadasan inaugurated the cultural programme. The key address was given by Shri.K.P.Mohanan (Asianet). The function was presided over by Shri.N.Vijayan Pillai, Managing Director, M.S.N.Institute Of Management.

The valedictory function was inaugurated by Mr.Mukesh (Cine Artist) & presided over by Adv.N.Rajan Pillai, Director, M.S.N.Institute Of Management. The hallmark of the day was an exclusive musical night by Mr.Balabhaskar.

DREAMZ 04

The following programmes were organized as a part of the south Indian competition held from 05th to 06st November 2004 at Kesava Memorial Town Hall , Kollam.

The Program was inaugurated by the Shri. Babu Divakaran, Honorable Minister of Labour. The function was presided over by Mr.Srinivas , District Collector , Kollam .

Mr. Sreejith IPS, Superintendent of Police, Kollam inaugurated the cultural programme. Mr. Jayasurya(Cine Artist) distributed the prizes for various competitions. The key address was given by Shri. Thoppil Gopakrishnan, Syndicate Member, University of Kerala . The hallmark of the program was an exclusive musical night by Ms. Hridya Suresh, Shine and party.

NATIONAL SEMINAR ON RETAILING

The Marketing Club – MEC organized a National Seminar on Retailing on 10 th December 2005 at Nila Palace , Kollam. Dr. Ramachandran Nair, Honorable VC , University of Kerala inaugurated the Seminar. Mr.Madhu.R (Faculty -Marketing) , chief programme co-ordinater addressed the gathering.

INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON ADVERTISING “EVOKE’07”

The Marketing Club – MEC organized an International Seminar on Advertising “EVOKE’07”.
Water Resource Minister N.K.Premachandran inaugurated the International Seminar on Advertising “EVOKE’07” at C.Kesavan Memorial Town Hall on 27 April 2007. M.V Sreyamskumar MLA delivered the keynote address. Mr. N. Vijayan Pillai, Managing Director, MSN Institute of Management and Technology presided the function Dr.Hariharan, Principal , MSNIMT addressed the audience. The technical sessions were handled by various experts from the field of Advertising and academia. Dr.Pradeep Rao ( Prof.of Marketing, The George Washington University,USA),Dr.Naveen Abhayashekhara (Head-Dept of Management Studies, Open University ,Srilanka),Mr.Sandeep Budhraja(Director World Resource centre)AC Nielsen research service Pvt Ltd were the resource persons. Mr.Madhu.R (Faculty -Marketing) , chief programme co-ordinater delivered the vote of thanks.

INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT “EVOKE’08”

The Marketing Club – MEC organized an International Seminar on Customer Relationship Management “EVOKE’08”
Shri. N. K. Premachandran , Honorable Minister for water resources inaugurated the International Seminar on CRM, “EVOKE’08 at C.Kesavan Memorial Town Hall on May 8th 2008.Mr. N. Vijayan Pillai, Managing Director, MSN Institute of Management and Technology presided the function. Prof. N. Rajagopalan Nair, Principal In charge, MSNIMT and Dr. Sudhakaran, Senior Professor, MSNIMT delivered the felicitation speech. Mr. Madhu.R , Assistant Professor, MSNIMT delivered the keynote address. The technical sessions were handled by various experts from industry and academia. Mrs. Tina Parsons (Director, City Country communications PLC, New York, USA- currently Exec. Director-AABC) Mr. Buddhika Hewawasam (Srilankan Airlines, Colombo, Srilanka) Mr. Srinivasan Mohandass (Satyam Computers Services Ltd. Delivery head- Project,North America) Mr. P.K.Raghuram, (Former Deputy GM, 3i infotech, ICICI Bank) enlightened the audience with their intellectual lectures. Dr. K.S. CHANDRASEKAR ,Director, Centre for Management ,Education and Entrepreneurship Development, IMK, Trivandrum chaired the sessions.
